Rescue Groups There are many individuals and/or groups who are permitted to adopt pets from the shelter and offer them for adoption elsewhere. The pets that these individuals/groups adopt from the shelter are not for sale and cannot be used for any other purpose other than adoption. In order for these groups to adopt they must have a copy of their 501C3, a letter of reference from the rescuer’s veterinarian stating that the rescue group does sterilize all pets before offering them for adoption and their contact information on file with the shelter. |
