Adoption Information & Requirements

Fees for adoption are:

  • For a pet that has not been spayed or neutered the fee is $40.00 per dog and $25.00 per cat.

Since the Animal Services Department does not actually spay or neuter, once you have adopted a non-sterilized pet and taken them to a licensed veterinarian you will be entitled to a $20.00 refund on dogs and $10.00 refund on cats. The veterinarian must sign the appropriate form and the procedure must be done within 30 days of the adoption to be eligible for the partial refund.
